Say hello all you night time heroes
Another night the mind runs free
Another night you and me
Let this run right through the night
Until the morning sheds it’s light
Join in now or at 4am
The night is here until first light
The mind it fights through darkness grip
Only you control it’s hold
Subconsciously held the dark nights grasp
Fight it push the darkness away
We know it is just nights mind play
At least 5 hours till dawn breaks free
Releasing me from the nights tight hold
I will not succumb will not be told
Never surrender to the dark nights hold
Rest and let the dark comfort me
Ready for the first light and be set free
I let the dark into my soul
But never to let it control
