accidentally removed my own post! cant be bothered to moan about christmas twice. just cant wait til new year when the world darts is on and i can buy my gold back out of cash converters |

I dislike the commercialism of the whole thing. Dislike the idea that people get into debt. Dislike the need to over-eat and get extremely d*unk. Dislike that what was once a cause for religious celebration has lost its meaning. Do like that people stop to think of each other more at this time of year.
Not a bah humbug but more a fan of simplicity and a genuineness of feelings.
I won't duck my head from the bullets either - we all have our own views...lol |

I never get d*unk at Christmas these days, and I only ever got d*unk at Xmas when I was young & single, but then I did that every weekend of the year anyway. I honestly can't remember the last time I got blotto d*unk, which is a waste really cos I don't get hangovers either lol. |

I wouldnt go as far as hate it but i see no point in it
Im not religious so i feel it hypocritical to celibrate it
Christmas has lost touch of what its all about now days anyway, now its just commercialised rubbish in an attempt to make as much out of as possible for a festival most of us dont even believe in

Lost my dad 2 days before Christmas a few years back and since then i woudn't mind if they cancelled it altogether. also remember when I was growing up the telly programs over christmas being really good and getting the tv and radio times the week before then planning all the way to new year and that was with 3 channels. now we have a million channels and their is fuck all on. |

all of that and i think of it as a family time and since divorce its just not the same - its all in bits and pieces now - an expensive emotional day to get through |
