Notts has recently posted about a Xmas party inviting, I assume, only swingers. I am thinking of having a little get together between Xmas and new year, and want to invite family and friends and would also like to invite a few friends from Fabs. It would be purely social, unless at the end of the night there were just 'fabs friends' left. Do you think its a good idea or not? |

I think you could accidently let something slip about swinging to your fab friends, that might be overheard by your family, never the twain shall meet lol Dont do it x |

This is the second time tonight I have agreed with you 
It only takes one wrong word or hand up the wrong skirt to unravel your hobby ........ I would be paranoid all night and not be able to relax if I mixed the two sets

It could be absolutely fine, or it could go pearshaped by one slip of the tongue (was meaning verbal here lol) - guess you need to think about the fall out if it got out to your family - only you know the people involved......
You could invite the family for the afternoon then your fab pals later! Tell the family your going out, so they go lol! Therefore only one lot of sorting out the house..........!
Just have fun!! You don't want to be on tenderhooks the whole time! |

Well for fear it pulled for my posting on... in which case I'm sorry..
We have done that many times over.. never been any issues whatsover..
Even had 12 couples attend a wedding reception.. again, no bother! |

Are we all so totally sex obsessed that if we were invited to a party such as this we wouldn't be able to contain ourselves till the 'vanilla' crowd were gone !!!!!
Surely you go places, work, parties, pubs, friends houses where you converse normally with no reference to swinging at all ???

In our case being fair... many already know what we do, friends and family.. (No Issues by the way) and those that don't.. if it bothered them, it's their problem, not ours... Our life!! Never set out to upset.. but we don't tell anyone else whats right or wrong, so why would they.. Besides as said, when its a mixed do.. people can and do behave.
We go to many normal social functions too... BBQ's Weddings.. alsorts.. Its never once been nor caused a problem. |

Thanks for all your posts, I think my fab friends would be just same as my regular friends, its a social gathering,relaxed, chilled, the usual party fun and games with maybe a little alternative fun later depending on the situation. I don't have much in the way of family, just my daughter really but she would disappear to a club with her friends later. |

Awww, that's nice re: party.
However, I am camping from 30 Dec until Sun 03 Jan in South Devon, so it is unlikely I can join you.
Shame, as I would love to bring a chocolate mousse or a Tiramisu along with me!
