Most disgusting thing I have trodden in was human excrement.

The homeless near where I work have taken to shitting in shop and office doorways and between parked cars.

That's not the worst of it, for a while they were also smearing it on car door handles and Boris bike handle bar grips.

So only treading in it doesn't seem to bad.
