I need a movie to watch after tonight's disappointing footie result.

What is a movie you like that no one else seems to know?

Here's my 2 in case you're in the same situation as me:

Thursday starring Thomas Jane and Aaron Eckhart

Deep Rising starring Treat Williams and Famke Janssen

Have you watched Dark Waters with Mark Ruffalo? It’s about the DuPont poisonings. Was really really good

Glasgow / London

Conversations with Other Women (split-screen romance/drama with Aaron Eckhart and Helena Bonham-Carter)

Threesome (’90s rom-com with Lara Flynn Boyle in an MMF sandwich)

The Opposite of Sex (Christina Ricci’s finest role as an absolute bitch of a girl)

All great, all sexy, all witty, and all more romantic than I’ve made them sound.

I used to love Threesome! That's a blast from the past. Think it was my first experience of being turned on by a film.

Ideal Home is good - Steve Coogan and Paul Rudd as a gay couple. Paul has never looked hotter than he is in this movie

Goodbye, Lenin!

It's a German film about a brother and sister who try to hide the fact that the Berlin Wall fell from their sick mother to prevent her having a relapse.

It's brilliant: funny, but also moving and heartwarming.

Sweet sixteen Martin compston first big film I think, it's set in a scheme very Scottish but good film and actually realistic.

Sleepers big stars in this and true story

Not for everyone but if you want something out of most people's comfort zone, I recommend Martyrs (the French original). Tough film to watch in parts, absolutely brutal.

So I ended up not watching anything suggested last night lol. But I will I swear

I did watch 2 excellent Brazilian movies called Elite Squad and it's sequel Elite Squad 2: Enemy Within

Awful titles I know - it must sound better in Portuguese. But they were both really good.

The main guy in it is the guy who plays Pablo Escobar in Narcos on Netflix.
