Worthing

Been so many since my teens and seen most of the 'classic' bands such as AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Kiss, UFO, Whitesnake, Donington festival, Ozzy, Van Halen, Styx, Thin Lizzy, Rush, MSG, Bon Jovi (playing their first uk gig). Recent years, Skam, Vambo and Cats in Space were good.

I love a lot of Rock. Not all.

But a more recent recommendation - Mammoth WVH.

Eddie Van Halens son, Wolfgang, band.

Saw them as a support act earlier this year, and they blew me away.

That is the beauty of being a mature rocker, your gig list is very similar to mine

Not quite in the same vein but The Stran_ler are my fave band, such sad news of the drummer, Jet Black passing away, joining Dave in the big band up in the sky

Plus numerous other non-rock acts.

Yep, love everything from avenged sevenfold to the killers. Play guitar and drums.

Love the musicality of Alter bridge but can't stand Myles vocals there!

Since a teenager, bought the leather jacket and eventually the motorbike that went with it.

Mainly into Motörhead, AC/DC, Sabbath that type of rock music and still have several Thin Lizzy albums on vinyl.

I’m a bit more eclectic with my musical tastes now but I’ve been known to have Gillan or Saxon playing in the car, in the morning.

Oh I’m actually jealous your seeing alter bridge live. If they play Cry for Achilles it’s an awesome gig already. Last gig I went to was the Hu at the end of November and got Apololipitica lined up in February

Yes, I've djed in many clubs, I once had my own radio show on local radio for three years.

I'm guessing we're here but not outwardly showing it because the vast majority don't like it.

My thought is . Perhaps as a lot older than most on Fab. But as a previous poster said . Metal , Rockers are now in a minority. Yet groups who have been around since I was in my late teens are still selling out concerts ?

I listen to a good variety of music, but rock always grabs me back.

Recent gigs:

Deep Purple at Leeds arena (bagged some free tickets from SKY)

Shinedown at O2 Apollo Manchester

Alter Bridge, Halestorm & Mammoth WVH at Manchester arena, bloody awesome show by all 3 bands

And I’ll be at Leeds arena on Friday night for Volbeat
