Using BDSM chains and leather on teddies that kids are holding .. models holding baby dolls smeared in blood .. kids with rope and balloons tied around their necks and tied down with straps .. Balenciaga spelling their brand with two A's Baal referring to the demonic Baal who takes children as offerings |

"Aside from the weird kids stuff, which I do agree is at the least in very poor taste, but are you saying that you are legitimately concerned about devil worship?"
I suppose you wouldn't know what your looking at unless you know symbols names patterns that are used for satanic agenda |

I'm asking are you genuinely concerned about devil worship?
Do you believe the devil exists and is trying to corrupt people through the Kardashians? |

The ad campaign was ill thought out bullshit and should never have happened - agreed.
But the name "Balenciaga" is the surname of the founder (he was Spanish). In Spanish, the affirmative imperative of the verb "to bleat" is "balen" and "ciaga" is one letter away from a word meaning blind. So, if we use the original language of the surname, it could be roughly translated as "Bleat Blind!"
Of course, that's utter garbage because you can't translate surnames quite like that, but it shows how you can make words mean something weird, if you think about it. I'm sure that parts of the word Balenciaga in other languages would give us other random translations. |

There's an article about this on Snopes.
Previous to this I had never heard of the brand so obviously the advertising is working.
A quick look at the images for the bears just reminded me of a rehash of the 'bondage bearz' that were all the rage a decade or so ago.
The image of the yellow tape with the mis spelling looks to me like it's been cut so that it ends on the A ie that's where you'd start unpeeling it from, and has certainly got them more publicity than otherwise for a range of rehashed gay plushies |
