Brazil, Argentina, Portugal and France, as much as I want England to get through, let’s be honest, they always let us down

Only 3 things are sure in life, death, taxes and England never winning another World Cup

"Well done Croatia! I now think whoever wins in England v France will be champs."

Agreed.

Portugal past it.

Argentina are too reliant on Messi.

The Dutch seem to be a shadow of the past.

Croatia are dogged but the keeper has kept them in that during the 90 minutes.

Totally agree and some of their behaviour has been absolutely dangerous. If they don't end up down to 9 men by the end of this extra time I will be flabbergasted.

The most passionate of fans. Argentina were amazing for most of the game, Holland only got back into it playing lump ball.

The ref wasn't very good, he didn't control the players very well and I don't think VAR helped, I was surprised Argentina ended with 11 players on the pitch. The guy should never have blasted the ball into an empty chair on the bench, but I thought they deserved to win

Ronaldo not even relevant as he will be sulking on the bench IF they smash Morroco and get through.

Portugal are all kinds of wrong for England bc they're defensively solid and are now scoring goals.

It's all about him...just shows what a tosser he really is"

Yes I agree. I get him but that wasn’t fair play. I mean he could have recognised the performance of the Moroccan team. Given it is the first time an African team reached this far in the competition.

"Ronaldo..

Tosser, a spoilt manchild lacking the grace to congratulate the winning team's players.."

Every single kids team coach should be showing that clip of him walking of and explaining just how selfish, petulant and unsporting an act that was. Not one single word to any Moroccan player or staff.

The game is not all about Cristiano Ronaldo however much he wants it to be

Well... To be fair. He didn't force the cameras to switch to him nor did he force all the TV stations and printed media to write about his every move. That's the insatiable appetite of us... Who build em up and love to knock em back down. He's a footballer. That's all. No more. No less.

But that's the point hes not just a footballer. He knows full well he is the hero to many around the world particularly young the children. I'm sorry but if you want fame and fortune and you want to be a top flight footballer you have to accept that comes with certain responsibility no excuse.

Stirred the pot at Man Utd to get his contract cancelled because Erik ten Hag wouldn't play him cos of his antics then pissed off the Portuguese coach cos he got subbed. Santos then promptly benched him over his outburst of dissent and spent his time on the bench with a face like a smacked arse. Same again today, sulked because he had to sit with the underlings and when he did get on did nothing of note.

Full time he showed his true colours with the petulant display of 'me me meism' by storming down the tunnel blubbing like a spoilt child.

Hopefully the rumoured £160 million deal to sign for one of the Saudi clubs now falls through but if it does go ahead then he needs to get a grip and ditch the nasty selfish and arrogant attitude he's shown the last few years cos the Arabs won't put up with it.

Good Luck to England and a little less luck to our neighbours. Hope for a good, fair match with a 98th minutes winner for the Three Lions.

Was the same in final against Italy when he was through on goal and rugby tackled and all that was given was a free kick when he should have had a second yellow

Whats he going at the end. Stops play, but not a foul. Restarts giving the ball to England, blows for half time.

Just blow for half time, don't need all the other nonesence
