My cat has stayed out today from 6.30am until just now.
Is it normal for them to be able to withstand such freezing temperatures? Or is she just crazy
Oh and she only came in to eat and then had gone back outside ![](/icons/s/rolleyes.gif) |

They have a built on winter coat. Perfectly normal. X |

Nice to hear you allow a cat to be a cat and no one of many owners who think a cat should be locked up in a house |

Cats are assholes who will do what they want- if they get too cold they’ll just put a brick through your window to get in, then whinge about the draught and why their food is not the right temperature |

Cats are pretty savvy. They'll find somewhere to hole up when it's cold. Mine used to go over to the allotments behind me and make a nest of wood shavings and snuggle into it and watch the chickens all day. They have a cat flap but neither of them will go out in the winter now that they're a bit elderly - they like their home comforts too much |
