"Is an open message with no reply another way of saying not interested like a deleted message or can it be seen as a maybe?"
Morning OP, I believe that if you haven't received a reply, then there is no interested, but I could be wrong as views differ on these forums. |

"Is an open message with no reply another way of saying not interested like a deleted message or can it be seen as a maybe?" its a maybe because they get so many messages they may have not had time to reply to yours |

Sometimes I’ll leave a message open as I haven’t got time at that moment to reply to it, but it’s there as a reminder to do that
However then it’s amazing how many come back with a comment when you do that or actually block you.
Damned if you do. Damned if you don’t |

Could mean a whole variety of things, everyone looks at it differently.
I would prefer the site just didn't tell people the status of their sent messages. The idea of someone refreshing their outbox constantly to see if it's read or deleted or unopened is uncomfortable. |

Good way would be to immediately delete the message from your sent box. That way you can forget about it and if they do reply, it's a nice surprise |

I think people read far too much into a message that has been read but not responded to. The fact is that it depends _entirely_ on the individual profile.
If you send a message that has been read but not responded to then my advice would be play it cool and just wait. I have had responses weeks later. |

Yep, probably. But don't overthink it. You've sent a message. You'll either get a reply or you won't, just don't send another saying "I see you read my last message but haven't replied..." |

This has been covered many times.i personally leave some messages for missus to reply. But surely there are many who are not getting replied. However I really hate the principle that people would be somehow morally obliged to reply to every message. |

Yes until they do reply if ever |

If you spoke to me and I heard what you said but did not reply. What would you think? Remember however that messaging here is not an instant conversation and many people have either:
a) alot of messages
b) busy lives away from fab
c) a lasse faire attitude
Whatever the answer, you can wait for a reply or not. But my advice would be don't get too bothered, as others have already said.
Keep smiling |

Send your message
Delete and Forget about it
If you get a reply happy days
If you done, no harm no foul.
If guys put as much into reading what their woman wants/needs as they do into the nuances of non replies etc life might be a little nicer all round. |

I've started doing the whole block thing if I get no reply/deleted messages (mostly the latter). They're for sure not interested and it makes life a bit easier that is for sure on here knowing I can't message them again |

Usually yes it means not interested, however someone I messaged the other day pointed that out in bio but also said if interested she might leave on read but not delete if interested because she's probably interested but doesn't know what to say at the time.
I'm still sitting on read and not deleted a couple of days later |

For the love of god! It hasn’t been 24 hours yet!
OP - there has to be a minimum of a full day between threads about opened messages, not read, deleted, not replied yada yada yada.
I will reconvene the ladies of fab committee meeting so we can agree another official response
Ps. Just send them and forget about them. Otherwise it’s a bit like being a stalker |

For me it generally means I've read something funny, seen something hot but I'm too busy/can't be arsed/in a fuck off mood to reply.
Generally I do also forget to reply later.
