having started my menopause a tad early, I was 34 when I was told I was probably half way through, for the last few months I have been getting a lot of hot flushes mostly in the evening, I refused HRT and take flaxseed oil and a calcium and magnesium supplement.
Any ladies take any other natural remedies and have they worked? |

I've not actually been diagnosed as being menopausal, but had been having hot flushes/sweats for a while so started on maximum Evening Primrose tabs a while back and the frequency of the flushes reduced a lot. For my hip replacement I was told to not take any supplements for a fortnight before the operation - what do I have all the time in hossie - yep hot flushes/sweats. Back home now, so back onto the Evening Primrose |

I would love to be able to take Evening Primrose but it seems I react badly to it, itching and throwing up, so be careful not everything works for everyone |

Try Agnus Castus. I had lots of problems finding something that would work for me as I couldn't go on HRT as it triggered my lupus.
Also reduce the levels of cholesterol in your diet.
Good luck. |
