Ooh, that was a close one. Advert just came on the telly for a kids Christmas Album. One of the tracks that was played was Last Christmas - but they're all cover versions, so I'm still in the game! |

Yep, it's the tune!  ridiculous. I literally heard no more than a dozen notes as it wheezed past, still recognisable though. The power of Last Christmas. |

Almost just got caught with car radio was listening to the news and only just managed to change channel when they said what was being played next. So flipping close I’ve managed to avoid it for so long. |

I believe I got caught another day scrolling through some videos and unfortunately next in the playlist had a playback of Last Christmas. Funny though, so worth being caught!  |

Bollocks, managed to get this far without hearing that bloody song, staff member comes in changes the music and before I could get to it, that bloody song starts, I was doing so well, nearly made it to Christmas day |

I had done so well this year, avoided all commercial radio, didn't go into shops, enjoying my control of my own Spotify this year to not play Christmas songs at all.
Took the boys to the theatre in central London on Thursday, still going well, didn't go in to any coffee shops or other musically uncontrolled places.
Then, walking back to the tube station, one of those brightly lit rickshaws, pink LEDs everywhere, speaker on the front. Wham! Last Christmas blasting out.
Curses. 22nd may be my record though. |
