This is exactly why single guys are always moaning about women and couples not replying.
I quite like a chat, but some people seem to assume that a reply means we are going to meet up for sex... that might happen, but the chances are it won't.

Yes there are lots who prefer the social side but that's their choice. And some others are just fussy and picky and it takes all sorts to keep everyone happy so just move on to the next one and maybe they will chase after you |

I seem to have accumulated a pen pal from 100s of miles away it's a he and I'm straight think he is too so I very much doubt we will ever meet, being a single guy on here as you can imagine I don't get all that many messages to reply to so it doesn't bother me and sometimes just good to chat to like minded folk, he initially message me asking about something I wrote on one of these forms and been chatting even since on and off |

Maybe the reason why they don’t want to meet you is because you accuse them of being a time waster or a cheat because they want to chat with you, get to know what you’re interested in, feel comfortable and safe with you etc. before arranging to meet. |

I wouldn’t want to meet them unless we had been chatting for quite a while. I’m not in a rush to meet anyone and I’m quite clear about that from the offset. Just find someone who wants the same as you OP. Quite simples really  |

As long as they are upfront about it, there is no issue. It's worse if they mislead you for weeks or months, then suddenly admit they never intended to meet.
