Has anyone noticed the rise in wonky veg. Carrots were once beautifully straight and tapered but increasingly Tom is finding wonky carrots in his basket. Why is this happening. Farmers using too much chemicals and creating this Frankenstein food. If it's not straight then Tom will not eat it |

Tom it's the supermarkets that decided on the style of veg we eat cause they could charge a premium. So over the decades, the public's view of veg changed to match so they would only accept 'perfect' veg.
Nothing wrong with 'wonky', they are all grown in the same fields anyway. |
