Hello! Was meant to be having a meet tonight. But got bailed on. I was also meant to be doing a shoot for a clothing brand and that got cancelled. So it’s been a day of cancellations. I did get a refund as it turns out the train was cancelled anyway, so a silver lining of sorts. |

Getting over Covid so I've been at home with the cat watching the snooker enjoying the peace and quiet.
Eldest moves out (again) tomorrow so also been working through his mountain of washing and marvelling at just how many overpriced hoodies and pairs of trainers one person actually needs  |

I never go out on Saturday (or Friday) nights if I can possibly help it.
I leave that pleasure to all the poor sods who only get those nights off.
They can all jostle for space, fight, crash into each other, get ripped off etc.
Not quite so bad in summer, though, if I can go and camp somewhere pleasant.
Off to bed very shortly and won't be getting up until about 9 am! |

Kids are in bed. Just me lounging on the couch with the cat sat on top of me. He's feeling a bit sorry for him self as he was out fighting this afternoon and come back a bit mucky, battered and a couple of wounds. He's being very clingy tonight so I know he needs some TLC. Think I will put him in my bed shortly and have my self a bath and stiff drink before I go to sleep. |

He's always been very attuned to me. When I was in the loneliest darkest place of my life he was always there by my side (more accurately on top of me) every where I was he was simply being with me (generally he out most of the day, dont see him much). I would have been completely lost without him in those dark times. The kids lost their great grandad this week (My Ex's side of the family) and he's been around them too all week when they've been sad.
He's getting on a bit now and I can't believe he's still out scrapping. Seen a couple new cats around recently. He's not one to pick fights and he's quite a small cat (was a stray as a kitten) but he's not one to be pushed out of his own lands. |

Thank you. I think we look after each other. Still on the couch. No got the inclination to get up yet or move him (he's fast asleep). I may skip the bath (don't judge me), pour a drink and go to bed. Hopefully have a nice sleep till I wake up in the morning with him (and his cat food breath) all in my face. Its been a long working day for me today. |
