Why does that have to be an “or”?

Regrets are not worth thinking about.
Every experience, good or bad, makes us who we are.
Just learn from them, and try and avoid making poor choices in the future. But if you do, don’t beat yourself up over them.

Other way round for me OP.
I've given one or two people here the benefit of the doubt and they behaved badly. Reflects on them not me. I'm tough enough to shake em off and keep going. |

I don’t regret missed opportunities but I do regret giving second chances to some people on here.

I don't really regret missed opportunities because I have no way of knowing how things would have turned out and regretting something like that is a bit of a waste.
I believe nearly everyone deserves a second chance but misplaced loyalty and trust is definitely something I regret |

Tbf I very rarely miss opportunities. But there’s only so many chances I can give before I say ‘fuck it’ and burn those bridges. My mental happiness is worth more. |

I give most people a second or third chance , it doesn’t mean they deserve & I wouldn’t put myself at risk it but it’s my choice. And I enjoy seeing the best come out of someone especially if I’ve be warned against them. |
