Question for ladies who wears anklets: If a guy approached you in public (public bar, shopping centre etc) made a nice comment about your anklet, would you be offended. Or what reaction would you have? |

Super interested in the responses to this. I often want Mr to approach anklet wearers when out, nothing more than him stating " I like your anklet". Too worried this might offend so we never act on this. |

It really depends what kind of anklet it is OP.
A compliment is nice though it doesn’t mean anymore than that - a compliment.
There are numerous reasons women would wear an anklet. Sometimes just because they like them. Don’t imply consent or anything else if they do. But if it is a HW one etc then ask  |

I think caution is the watchword here.
There are are many ladies who wear an anklet simply as a fashion accessory, for whom I suspect ANY advance would be inappropriate.
However there are a number of anklets, as WE know that have a swinging connotation, the obvious being the HW charms or a fox charm, or a cock charm (as in tbe feathered variety!). In that case a compliment of ‘I do like your ankle bracelet’ MAY be appropriate??
I have only recently bought an anklet (piccy on my profile) and started wearing it …. but am very selective where I wear it!

Here’s my take OP.
I personally wouldn’t approach a woman wearing an anklet.
It’s a piece of jewellery / an accessory
It doesn’t mean she’s a swinger. Many women wear them with no meaning behind them. & I don’t see it even if it was a HW anklet, to approach someone. |

I would be very wary of him as he's creepy as fuck. Men don't comment on things like anklets without a dodgy agenda.  |

Most HW anklets are pretty small to be able to notice a woman was wearing a specific one would take hawk eyes.
If you are lucky enough to approach the right woman wearing a come hither symbol and not come off as an annoying letch is going to be tricky.
As said for many it's just a fashion accessories, much like ear rings or necklaces.
So ask yourself would you walk up to a random woman and say you like her ear rings?
Probably not, as let's be honest unless it's a bar or club and obviously a chat up line anywhere else it's going to be seen as pretty creepy. |
