We went the week before Xmas. 4 great days then biblical rain came and washed all the snow away.
We have ski’d a lot and never had rain before.

They are a lot higher this year than previous. I usually get flights and book a hotel seperately as it works out cheaper. But this year Im stopping at my best friend appartment in Zell Am Zee (he has a ski school and lives there full time) so the only expense is just lift pass, flights, food and apres Ski |

Well I am not because:
1. I am not currently meeting anyone. Too much NRE (new relationship energy) for anyone else to get a look in.
2. It's a holiday with 11 friends
3. Of those 11 friends one is my husband the other my new boyfriend (so again with the NRE). |

And each of the Arc villages are small with the potential for an unplanned or awkward apres encounter! |

Not been for a full week in probably 8 years, loved the Eurostar weekender when it was running - work was a struggle come Monday morning
Dropping nearly 5k for a family of 4 is silly money, especially when that would easily cover 2 weeks in Mexico over the summer holidays. |

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales) |
Had a great week in Serre Chevalier at Club Med. The snow was great, the weather was great, the place was empty (ish).
Just had another few days in Sierra Nevada, too. Good weather, mostly good snow, but boy, was it icy in some places!
Perhaps Andorra for a week in March????

i"m off somewhere in march, as i am flexible with dates i am just waiting for some decent weather, Austria looks best for snow at the moment, so maybe somewhere around innsbruck, but i also fancy flachau south of salzburg. |
