Yes, single men have got a bad reputation for being time wasters and fantasist...and no show loads of times.
However, after speaking with a couple from 10mins away on here, whatsapp messaging and video calls a meet was arranged..
Now time came, time went nothing, not a call, not a text nothing!!.. Their profile is now not available and can see tell they have blocked WhatsApp as well.
But single men are the time wasters.. took morning off work to play as well..
Why do people do it?? |

I don't know why they do it. It's not something I've ever done or had done to me though so I don't know what people get from it.
What I did learn early on though is sex talk and swapping pics usually just encourages those who have no intention of ever meeting on here so I don't do that anymore. And I tend to chat for a good while before I meet anyone as well.
People must get a kick out of leading others on and having their ego's massaged that's more than likely why people do it. Or they were never a couple in the first place. |

They were a couple. Whatsapp video called them on numerous occassions and we spoke at length about the meet. Didn't need to swap pics...as saw them on video and speaking to them.. frustrating. |

Single men aren't the timewasters.
'Some' people are. And they can be men, women or couples.
You did your pre-meet homework, took precautions to ensure they were real, and still got let down. This is on them, not you. Sadly it happens but it will always be beyond your control.
If and when it does the only thing you can do is block them and move on. Disappointing as it is there's no point dwelling on it or wondering if it will happen again, as all that will do is taint your view on others when they're not linked to any previous occurrence.

Had it happen a number of times, with single men, single women and couples. Try not to get disheartened or let if affect you contacting people.
I have meet this afternoon up which will take me a while to travel.to. (bloody Welsh public transport) and even though I'm sure it will be fine, that tiny bit of me still wonders if I'll get a message cancelling, or I'll be sat in pub on my own.
Still, I'm going to trust this person. Why wouldn't I

Given the sheer volume of whining done by single guys that get no response it's baffling how many when the goal is straight in front of them walk off from the penalty spot! (World cup themed reply yay)
For the record we have never cancelled a meet nor have we considered not turning up. In our opinion the very worst we would do is if the dynamic didn't feel right we would apologize and offer to leave. |
