Wolverhampton

Overpriced tat at Christmas. Things that any other time of year we'd turn our nose up at in the pound shop. Come and have a moan about it here

Pigs in blankets. Take 50p worth of mini sausages, wrap it up in 80p worth of bacon, and charge £2.99 for it.

What do you want to say bah humbug to?

My nan’s spare room.

Turkey.

It’s bloody shit, chicken is far tastier better still a goose, lamb or beef but we have a bloody turkey that you wouldn’t have any other time, just so you can still be eating dried table mat turkey sandwiches when the kids go back to school.

Oh I think turkey.

I know right, imagine making sprouts even better than they already are by adding garlic butter!

And it's a nightmare to park anyway. Especially at the moment with all the road works and diversions and all that.

Covent Garden

I often notice that most of my metrosexual skincare products are ½ price around this time of year.

They also tend to be mostly out of stock or discontinued.

It seems more like they have become something to hate with no much of a reason really. They are pretty inoffensive and actually nice if cooked properly. A bit like olives, most who say don't like them have not even tried them or just had those awful ones you get in dome jars. There will always of course be people who font like one thing or another and that's just fine.

Pembrokeshire

All of chrimbo is a rip off

I had to pay exactly twice as much for the turkeys this year than last year, same for the gammons and the beef.

The whole normal budget is gone just on the meats.

Ive not got a card or a present yet, and im yet to buy the grog.

Then theres all the rest... piggies veg puds and treats etc

Its shocking.

I really must go away next year and let somebody else do it all.

Sprouts can fuck off any time of the year, but can fuck off even further at Christmas.
