Overpriced tat at Christmas. Things that any other time of year we'd turn our nose up at in the pound shop. Come and have a moan about it here
Pigs in blankets. Take 50p worth of mini sausages, wrap it up in 80p worth of bacon, and charge £2.99 for it.
What do you want to say bah humbug to? |

Turkey.
It’s bloody shit, chicken is far tastier better still a goose, lamb or beef but we have a bloody turkey that you wouldn’t have any other time, just so you can still be eating dried table mat turkey sandwiches when the kids go back to school.
Oh I think turkey. |

"Sprouts with bacon and garlic butter dressing. Don't dress them up their still fu@#ing sprouts
That actually sounds delicious "
I know right, imagine making sprouts even better than they already are by adding garlic butter! |

I love sprouts. I eat them all year.
Me too sprouts with vinegar, delicious!"
It seems more like they have become something to hate with no much of a reason really. They are pretty inoffensive and actually nice if cooked properly. A bit like olives, most who say don't like them have not even tried them or just had those awful ones you get in dome jars. There will always of course be people who font like one thing or another and that's just fine. |

All of chrimbo is a rip off
I had to pay exactly twice as much for the turkeys this year than last year, same for the gammons and the beef.
The whole normal budget is gone just on the meats.
Ive not got a card or a present yet, and im yet to buy the grog.
Then theres all the rest... piggies veg puds and treats etc
Its shocking.
I really must go away next year and let somebody else do it all. |
