This one will be a good game to watch and it is kick off 7pm today, but I dont want any of these teams to lose, so I am hoping that it will be a draw. I am predicting that it will be 1-1, what are you prediction the score could be? |

Wales to win 1-0 in the last seconds of an unbelievably turgid game, both England and Wales go out, England sunk in gloom for at least 50 years, Wales giddy with delight for same. It's the most depressing, and thus most likely, outcome.
Yes, I am available for children's parties. |

West Wales and Cardiff |
I hate watching Wales v England games - too nerve-wracking.
I decided in 2013 they were bad for my health. We (Wales) won in the rugby that year and I “retired” on a high.
I usually go for a walk when it’s on; tonight’s a bit different…..a meet . |

I think that it will be a poor game, Wales will try & stop England like Scotland did in the Euros last year. They will hope to hit us on the break but overall with Mr Cautious in charge we will struggle to break down a Welsh defensive wall. |

Not a footy fan used to play when younger played in reserves for a professional but my lust for females got in way.
Footy today is not much of a contact sport tbh the amount of diving and rolling around is a disgrace this filters down to kids who see it as normal.
The double standards re Qatar is sickening
I remember 1980 or 1984 olympics where Russia were hosts and lots of nations boycotted them because of Russias stance on human rights and hatred of the west.
Why this has not happened regarding Qatar purely down to greed.
Either as a nation we are against any nations human rights abuses or not.
If so they should be boycotted its just a game of footy so no loss by boycotting it.
Morning rant over...for now |

Exactly. I'm not worried about the Welsh attack. Get Kane, Rice, and Mount off, put on Grealish, Bellingham, Sterling, Saka, anyone with skill and pace, and attack. Like we should have against the US.
Our attack is better than anyone outside the top 4 teams in the world. Our defence is not even top 10. Why focus so much on the latter?
It's why Hoddle and Venables were exciting England managers: Spurs through and through. 'The game is about the glory, about doing things in style, with a flourish, about beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom.' |

England need to lose by 4 to fail to qualify. They’re going to the next round regardless of results unless the biggest shock in the history of football happens.
Not that I’m happy about that, just the way it is |

It always makes me laugh the way Rugby fans comment about football negatively yet doesn’t really happen the other way round. Each sport is great in its own way IMO. |

Calling the referee Sir would be a good start for football.
Then a few yellows and reds for acting abilities.
Glad to see the time wasting being stamped on in the WC.

Totally agree with you
It is totally about the money and the corruption that runs FIFA
With the human rights records of the whole region it should never be there.

Was told at the beginning of my career to drop my accent, and that only country bumpkins speak Welsh and to drop it. Needless to say I didn't.
A bit of banter between the home nations is one thing, but abuse for speaking their mother tounge is ridiculous. Never understood why speaking Welsh is such a trigger to some. |

Lots of people seem rather snowflakey about that .
Do you have any idea how much stick those players would have had for being Welsh down the years. All light-hearted banter of course, but it gets a bit wearing.
The chance for them to give some stick back out when back at their clubs for the first time would have been delicious. That’s why there was that reaction.
If you don’t understand that, you have no idea about the nature of football support . |

Because the fact it still exists and it’s central to community life in many parts of Wales represents a failure on the part of the powerful (including powerful Welsh people) to eradicate it over the centuries.
Many people don’t actually believe it’s spoken - I’ve had people express shock to me when O do.

Off to jail he goes. This squad, like so many others should do it, but won’t. The manager can only do so much, a lot does rest with the players and how they’ve been so far nothing to get excited about. |

I’d add…. I’m hoping for an upset.
Wales come out fighting, show what it means to play for your country and to be fair it’s the sort of game England struggle in.
Just imagine Wales win 4-0 and the other two draw.
It’s not over until it’s over and both sides need to remember that |

It’s a split screen time. Whatever the others score in a draw, Wales have to match it in a win…. I think, got headache doing the maths / goal difference |

"I thought that it was ironic that the Welsh fans booed God Save The King when the same guy was the Prince of Wales until a couple of months ago. " the prince of Wales was a trick role irrc. We were offered a "ruler" who spoke no English. And got a new born prince.

"And wales is technically england anyway but just wants to appear detached from mummy and daddys apron strings"
When mummy and daddy are dicks, wouldn't you? Mummy and daddy took the child away without permission anyway. |

A lot of English people don't want a royal family either but will happily sing about it when they choose to.
See the anthems in Euro 16, they both booed each other.
See the final whistle of Eng v USA last week, England fans booed their own players.
Isn't that ironic |

Erm, that’s one of the main reasons (there’s a lot) it gets booed |
