"Evil dead 2"

Absolute classic.

Army of darkness is so bad it's good as well

Hellraiser 2 and 3 aren't bad horror sequels, I think there is about 6 or 7 in total but not got past 3

Is Alien a horror, or sci-fi?

If horror, then Aliens. Vasquez and Ripley are a kick ass duo.

If it's sci-fi, then The Bride of Frankenstein.

The Exorcist III

It is way, way better than the woeful Exorcist II: The Heretic and many, myself included, even prefer it to the slow burn original.

You can't have aliens as a horror sequel, that's just cheating. (it's one of my favourite all time movies)

I refuse to consider that a sequel. Much like I do the monstrosity of a film that is the new matrix one.

You could classify the Frankenstein stories as sci-fi too. I.e. Using science to create a new life from other bodies.
