I have just been called this by a complete stranger. If the word ethical had been used before it I wouldn’t have been so offended.
Ladies would this of caused offence or do you like being called it ? |

Context is everything. As an opening gambit, we’d consider it completely unacceptable, resulting in an instant block. If we’re in the throes of passion, it’d be different (but even then, context is everything). |

I can see it being a risky but potentially acceptable first message if the profile in question leads it that way but unless it's fairly clear it's a completely unacceptable first message. |

In a first message it saves me any time interacting with them as they are looking for something that I'm not.
Some women would love this abrupt first message.
I think some men try being nice and get no response so turn up the nasty/ outright sex chat as they assume that's what women want.

Somebody used this in an opening message to me this week. He had no veris and stated on his profile that it was difficult for men on here. I helpfully pointed out why he might be finding that the case but apparently some women like it, so I left him alone so he could message them instead! |

I’ve had some pretty shocking stuff said to me in messages, but I never get offended - there are a fair few wronguns on this site that should be sectioned (Male and Female!)
Some people have their own agendas, and as wrong as it is, you just have to block them and forget it.

It wouldn't offend me even though I don't like the word and it's not something I would tolerate being called by anyone I meet.
But getting called it from some random on here it just just make me roll my eyes and think what a twat and delete the message marked unread I'd probably make a note on their profile about it as well and delete any other messages they might send over time.I would only block if they became persistent in messaging. |

To be honest I wouldn’t take offence because strangers opinions mean nothing to me. I’d just block and delete.
I would take offence if it was said in anger from someone I care about.
I find it quite hot when I’m in the bedroom and being treated as such 
But I do understand what you’re saying OP. It’s not ok for people to just throw it about like that without knowing someone. |

I think this is one of those things where a lot of guys take the fact that this is a "sex site" as licence to forget basic manners, and forget how to act like a gentleman.
Now, there can be a time and a place for such things, and dirty talk and name-calling can be hot in the right context, which generally should be discussed and agreed upon beforehand (or maybe during).
But just straight off the bat and unsolicited? Nah. Same rule as dick pics. A quick and easy way to sort the gents from the boys. |
