When it's Christmas. Usually around the 20th when hubby is home and brings his mum from the UK. She is the designated tree decorated, but it's a bit like getting a toddler to do it ( she's petite) and when she goes to bed I usually fix things. |

"By negotiation it will be next Saturday but I have fairy lights on already.
I will be popping my warm white non flashing lights on my front bush today "
I'd like to light up my holly tree this year but I need someone with a tall ladder. |

It will be worth it. Is there a neighbour that can help? I can’t reach a thing and always need help. |

No. I barely speak to my neighbours now. They'll probably be nicked anyway. I'd like spread a little cheer this year with some colour.

I'm not putting a tree up this year. Just can't be arsed with moving all the furniture around and living in cramped conditions to fit it in. I'll put some lights up and a couple of garlands, and be very happy with those. But definitely not until next weekend at the very earliest. |

"Can't be arsed with all the Christmas stuff until 10th December at least. Start early and it gets boring before Christmas even arrives. I refuse to buy, or eat, mince pies until December. "
And probably won't bother with tree or decorations. |

I did mine yesterday.
My niece came round to help me, we put on Christmas films and music, had hot chocolate with marshmallows (and baileys in mine ), and we baked some mince pies and ate them still warm from the oven with ice cream… so I’m currently feeling quite christmassy, warm and fuzzy |

Started it today. Both trees are up but only one is decorated and the rest of the house needs to be done. Will probably take another week to be finished completely.
