Tom visited a supermarket today. He does not know how to pronounce it but it is spelt Lidl. Tom once thought that it was a shop were the poor shopped but he was judging it by the car park. Tom is not one to compliment the French but the croissants were decent. Never judge a book by it's cover. |

Tom's trolling its getting next level...i'm sure he knows perfectly well Lidl is German. If you likes the pastries, i suggest you try the baguette next time, truly gorgeous when fresh baked.
Also, if you're judging it by the carpark, you need to change branch. Outside mine i've seen several Porsches, a Mercedes G Wagon, One of those Lamborghini SUV things and a bright yellow Ferrari (which i think is the bloke at the end of my lane, but i've only caught a glimpse of a sleek bright yellow thing through the trees, so he could drive a banana?) |

My brother has lived in germany for the last forty years, so watched as Lidl and Aldi grew there first
On one visit over there, quite a few years ago now, we were talking about how Akdi and Lidl had made great strides in the UK and he said, in Germany no one admits to shopping there, but the car park is always full of Mercs and BMW's |

"It’s pronounced Lidl but the posh people don’t pronounce the H. "
Brother pronounces it " Lee-dle" but in the south west of germany the accent is likened to a Geordie English accent, so who the fuck knows |

Has anyone else noticed how the price directly below the product refers to something about six feet away.
I was tricked into buying a deluxe milk, white and dark Belgian chocolate florentine selection for 89p. A luxurious selection of milk chocolate and pecan florentines, white chocolate and cranberry florentines and dark chocolate and ginger florentines. It was actually £4.99, and it is no more…. |

That's exactly what he was saying
People were too embarrased to admit to shopping at discount supermarkets, yet very middle class people were rocking up there every week
Or as we say, 10 bob snobs |

That's how the rich get rich, earn lots of money and spend as little as possible on essentials. Spend the rest on what you enjoy.
You don't get rich by wasting money. Waitrose customers like to give you the impression they're rich. |

Adam went to Tesco the other day. Adam didn't notice the other cars in the car park. Adam bought some chocolate peanuts. Adam has now eaten the chocolate peanuts. Adam enjoyed them. Adam has never spoken in the third person before. Adam doesn't like it. Adam won't do it again because he's not a nob.
Be more Adam. |

I used to meet my wife at lunchtime if I was working in Morpeth and we used to buy a sandwich and sit in Lidl's carpark on our lunch break,
I used to love watching to stuck-up toffee-nosed twats from Morpeth taking the shopping from a Lidl trolley into the boot of their car and then transferring it into a fancy carrier bag - M&S or Waitrose ........ |

People can pronounce it whatever way they like but in lreland shopping centers like Lidl and Aldi saved families and people during the recession or financial crash since 2008 with the quality and prices of goods , l knew people that said they would never shop in places like that , that statement lasted about 3 weeks. |

Lidl has an amazing bakery as section! I love both Lidl and Aldi and prefer to other chains. I’m not a snob I would shop where the food suits my taste and value for money and let the curtain twitchers gossip fuck em |

Emerging reports that Aldi and Lidl prices have risen by 19% over the last period which is the highest of the Top 8 supermarkets. Are they taking advantage of the socially disadvantaged who are less likely to realise what's going on here guys. Sometimes the poor are poor for a reason. |
