I understand that cultural appropriation isn't a good thing but there is a difference between that cultural influence. Cultures being influenced by others is what creates more culture! Ignore them, wearing your hair in dreads isn't appropriation. |

Didn't the Celts have dreadlocks way before the Rastafarians? |

G from a different part of her life put her artwork on her website. Haters attacked her. It was vile. I actually contacted one of the perpetrators and said do you know the pain you are causing to someone's life, why are you doing this. They replied, and I quote " because its fun. Its like watching a car crash"
There are some really sick people in the world that can hide on the Internet and emerge just to hurt people.
G went on to have a thriving tattoo business. |

This is a non-starter for us. Any twonk who spouts “cultural appropriation” whilst enjoying another culture’s food, film, music and art has just virtue signalled themselves out of relevance and instantly lost which ever argument they were hoping to start.
It seems that this is mostly posed by those who think they are showing a respect and inclusion of diversity when really they are simply segregating global culture as a form of manipulation and continuation of a cultural class system. (Whether deliberate or through the blind ignorance of repeating a phrase they think sounds good.
I wonder if they are also insulting those not English in suits or those not from Croatia for wearing ties? Can only those from southeast Asia wear pyjamas?
Cultural appropriation is not insult but an appreciation.
*plagiarism, bootlegging and copyright infringements are not okay. Wearing lederhosen is probably advised against on grounds of fashion. opening a bushmeat restaurant may not be wise on grounds of commercialism and switching from whistling you morning’s ear worm on the London Underground to yodelling it, on grounds of sanity.

Only once for me but a total random I’d never interacted with, who told me I was “the most grossly conceited supercillius person on this site, arrogant, big headded, you are not gods gift to us on here”
My 1st hate mail. I saved it for posterity |

They may be but don't call him Shirley...
At Uni I was rocking a massive white blouse under a tight waistcoat and was feeling super trendy... At a nightclub, a person pushed me unprovoked saying "fuck off you confident bitch!"... Well that says a lot about them doesn't it? |
