I have some deliberately odd socks that are themed in a way you can where they with any from the set, but none are the same. But pairing 2 halves of different socks? Nope.... |

Life is too short to worry about matching socks daily. I would make the effort for special occasions such as weddings or funerals, or going on a meet where I may end up naked. |

I'm sure there's ways to avert your attention to other things.
Mine are all black so you'd have to really be checking hard. Which would be weird. |

Professor Richard Dawkins, as well as being a world-renowned evolutionary scientist and an outspoken atheist, is also a vocal proponent of wearing odd socks. You can see this in various photos. He says we waste a lot of valuable time matching up socks and it could be used more productively. |

When I was younger I probably placed great importance on matching socks… these days, I probably wouldn’t notice if I had managed to match them or not.
Stockings on the other hand ! They really need to match  |

If you want them to match but they don't then it matters. If you don't want them to match but they do then it matters. If you don't care if they match but they do then it don't matter. If you don't care if they match and they don't then it don't matter. Hope that covers it all. |

The evilest of christmas presents... The weekday sock set! Not only they have to match eachother but also the day of the week. Not amusing, binnable. |
