Since my central heating packed up this week I've rediscovered how fabulous a simple hot water bottle can be.

I even love the warm rubber smell!

Let's hear it for the hottie!

I don't use one now but yes, the smell brings back lovely childhood memories.

I love mine, the medication I am on makes my fingers and toes sensitive to the cold so I often have a hot water bottle

I read something just today about shelf life of a hot water bottle and how they have a date stamp on and are meant to be thrown away after 3 years max as they become unsafe!! Iv had some hot water bottles that were older than my kids, I was shocked

The humble hot water bottle, the cure for many ailments. I'm never without at least one in my life.

Sometimes I just use it for comfort.

I love my hot water bottle!!! It’s both a cosy and a comfort thing for me

But please check the seal and the rubber for wear and tear- a burst hot water bottle isn’t fun.

Love my hot water bottle, never without it for sofa and bedtime...but no smell off it with a fleece cover

Only thing better than a hot water bottle is The Child being a limpet on me, hang on, no no much prefer the hwb or wheat bag for warmth. At least I can still move then!
