On today’s Woman’s Hour they were discussing the clitoris because recent research has revealed that it has more nerve endings than was previously thought. Apparently a study in the 70s which suggested that there were 8000 nerve endings was based on work carried out on a cow! More recently they have studied actual humans and now believe there are ten thousand nerve endings in that tiny little nub of pleasure…
