near you...

"Wilko Johnson formerly of Dr Feelgood has died aged 75. RIP fella."

To be fair, he did have a great encore act: after first being diagnosed with what they thought was terminal cancer, he ended up beating it (for a while at least) then appearing on Game of Thrones for a while.

Oil City Confidential a must watch and he’s great as a contributing commentator.

When I first saw him play (unfortunately on screen, never saw him live) he just looked so scary, consistently walking to and fro towards the audience. But what presence he had.

A sad loss RIP

(I recall seeing him in GOT, looked the part of a dodgy Knight )

Wilko was great. I saw him play at Hard Rock Hell a few years ago, not long after his cancer recovery.

Sad to learn this today. Very charismatic and a great guitarist. Given 9 months to live in 2012 or 13 ?

I’m sure Robert elms on radio London will do something special on Friday to mark Wilkos death

As Tony Wilson once said, no one moves like Wilko

Feelgood are still working... No idea if any of the originals in the lineup though.

No, not since Lee Brilleux died. They are still a decent live band though.

Curt Cobain died the day after Lee so he hardly got a mention
