Having just been spanked on here for posting an unapproved link can someone enlighten me about just what this means, I mean associated press jut posted misinformation about a missile fired into Poland by the Ukraine, which turned out not to by Russia, are AP now an unapproved link? Is there a database of these unapproved links?

FAQs will tell you.

The press sometimes get it wrong. Generally they correct tho.

But the mods need a rule to work to. I've been banned for linking to a medical journal. But it was a fair ban as I can't expect them to check.

This is what it says in the forum rules. A link to these rules I'd available at the top of the page when you post a new thread or comment.

Yep.

In journalistic terms Associated Press are a far more reliable source than most of the red tops.
