It's Day 3 at the Qatar World Cup and today we have 4 matches...
Argentina v Saudi Arabia -10 am
Denmark v Tunisia - 1pm
Mexico v Poland - 4pm
France v Australia -7pm
Lionel Messi will probably be playing in his last World Cup as Argentina get their tournament under way..
World cup holders France start the defence of their trophy this evening against Australia but are without 2 of their best players Pogba and Benzema...
Any comments or predictions for today's matches?.... |

I agree with you that Mex v Poland will be the most competitive match today...The Poles have a brilliant striker in Robert Lewandovski who now plays for Barcelona...Will be interesting to see how he dose against the Mexicans defence.... |

I think it's because you can score with your shoulder but not your arm and as a result, it's offside. |

Have a read about what Pierluigi Collina said about the additional time. They're actually counting all stoppages properly for the first time. Just shows how much time wasting goes on. No more benefit to arsing around making subs in the 88th minute etc. |

I totally disagree with Saudi policy and laws on the vast majority of things, but the football team played a blinder and deserved to win. Argentina didn't have a good day at the office. |

It is long overdue. Now all they have to do is stop the match clock when people time waste and then people can see how much time is left to play. |

Giroud is such an interesting player. France top scorer with Henry, a huge trophy cabinet that rivals most, and an amazing highlight real that would give Zlatan a run. Yet is a distant away from being a great. |
