London Transport Museum and Delapre Abbey.. I guess the latter kind of counts as a museum. I've never been unhappy with any museum visit.
Off to VA in December |

"The "Wellcome Collection" (part of the Wellcome Foundation), a museum promoting the nexus between science, health and medicine, located inside a modernistic building."
I like the quirk of the place. Remember seeing silver nipple shields there first time |

Has anyone been to the Dandy exhibition in Manchester? Looks great.
The Fashion Museum sounds fabulous - would you recommend it? "
Sadly it closed last month as it is relocating. But some great displays so well worth a visit in it's new home when it event opens. They are loaning exhibits so worth a look at their website...i.e Dandy exhibition. |

I loved it there, I've seen his touring exhibition and the one that was briefly in London bit the Amsterdam one is incredible and far better than either of those |

I unfortunately missed it in London, but was blown away by the one in Amsterdam. I thought it might have been a bit gory or weird but once I saw the first one I was absolutely fine |

Oo I loved that. I saw it several years ago at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Very weird and interesting at the same time. |

There is the Bus Museum here on the Isle of Wight - it's just up the road from us.
We know parents who have taken their kids along, and they all loved it. It's for the discerning but anorak and sprogs of an age where they are in awe of big vehicles. |

Our worst...
The Cornwall National Paper Weight Museum was easily our worst.
Most recently Bristol Museum which has changed little in many years, I suspect its last major redesign was motivated by the lufwaffe.

Let me redux my previous sentiment: The Yayoi Kusama installations are brilliantly awe-inspiring but ephemeral. It's just two tiny rooms and it's over before you know it. I suggest that you head over to "Lift 109" at Battersea Power Station afterwards: that is worth a visit! |

Agree...Love Avebury.
Had some interesting chats with an old boy who owned the shop in the circle opposite the pub. |

Last time we went to the V&A there was an exhibition we wanted to see but got the dates wrong. They where very kind to let us behind the curtain and have a look at it |

We have been to that musuem as well . Very sad and moving experience.
Had a guest speaker on the day.
Not many people know of this musuem which is a shame. |

I love it there. It even smells old worldy. I’ve visited it on and off since I was a child.
I’d highly recommend it.
You beat me to it. I love the place, mainly outdoor visiting different houses and other buildings.
