is there a way to loosen a corner edge without damaging it? i need to peel it back 2-3 inches to do something but it needs to go back into position afterwards

ooer, you could try blowing a hairdryer on it to heat and loosen the glue a bit.

Warm water on a cloth or sponge on the area you need to peel back and leave it to soak for a bit.
