Oia, Santorini, 2011. The whole caldera blazed scarlet, then orange, against a bruised indigo sky. The whole restaurant stood and raised their glasses.

Fastest one I ever saw was in Thumrait in Oman, you could actually see it drop down out of the sky!

Killin - Scotland

Camping by a loch surrounded by beautiful trees. Watching the sunset disappear behind them and glisten over the water. So peaceful

In Bend Oregon. The sky looked like it was a blaze. Lasted about 5 minutes then vanished

One I remember most clearly is at Sunset Cliffs, near San Diego. Pretty special watching the sun sink into the Pacific...

My garden. I am well traveled, but I find the sunsets of my home the most beautiful, the house faces west, with rolling hills and farmland.

Ah, I have to agree: any sunset in the mountains after a day on the slopes is pretty high on my list. With gluhwein caveat.

Actually the sunrises we see out of the big glass fronted shop in morning are truly spectacular! Pity I don't carry my phone with me or I would take a pic x
