I’m fairly new to Sheffield and looking for some recommendations for venues/nights or local events if anyones fancies sharing?
I’ve just moved up from London so I’ve been a little spoilt for choice…so no pressure |

The swingers club La Chambre sadly shut for good in lockdown.
Areas to go on a night out for drinks would be along ‘West street’ , Leopold Square , Ecclesall Road and Kelham Island.
In the area of Kelham Island it is industrial factories and warehouses turned into bars, with very old traditional pubs nestled in between. It also has a monthly food and beer market called “Peddlers Market” which I recommend going to. If you want to go for some food around there, try Cutlery Works. That’s a converted factory with about 10 different food vendors inside and a bar.
Enjoy Sheffield! |

So there aren’t any swinging clubs left in Sheffield? I’m surprised I must say.
There was only ever one. But you are between Leeds and Manchester which have a few"
I might have to take a trip up to Leeds…any nights you’d recommend? |

Apparently Glory Holes golf is fun, I haven't been though, just what people have told me.
I'll second Peddlers Market and Kelham Island in general.
Ecclesall Road has some decent bars and restaurants, it's a bit more relaxed than West St.
Going to see The Steelers play is a fun evening. |
