I'm trying to find out the average gas/electricity bills per year.
I can find what it was in April, around £2000 a year, has that been capped until March? |

I totally ignore the average as we all use different amounts.
I’ve not put the heating on yet but going off my parents smart meter it’ll cost @£1 per hour. At the moment our standing charge costs more than our gas use. Our electric use is higher than j would like but we are still just about below average use |

Calculate the kwh usage from your last 12 months of energy bills. Then calculate what the cost would be at the new rates.
The 'cap' is the average usage of the UK. It's not a literal cap for every household that some people seem to think it is.
Higher use will mean people paying much more than £2000/ year.
