Anybody else enjoyed the Mortimer and Whitehouse gone fishing series? Love fishing myself but the programmes aren’t really about that, it’s just the vehicle for two life long friends to enjoy being out in the countryside.

I’d love to go fishing with them!

I don't fish, but it's a really great series. Very funny and relaxing and some great banter and sincere friendship comes across.

Brilliant, isnt it.

Im not into fishing either. But the banter between the two of them...and guest appearances by Ted...is Brilliant.

Two mates just dicking about and having a laugh.

It's great isn't it. Sometimes quite poignant too.

I may have had a tear in my eye when bob bought Paul a vinyl of his mum singing when she was an opera singer.

There seems to be a genuine affection between them.

True. It’s really not about the fishing though!
