do you ladies look your age?

Going on from happyxxxmiss thread, how many of you ladies look, or get told you look, older or younger than you are. I get told people think I'm younger than I am, although it's probably more to do with the fact I don't act my age

Was told by my uni professor, I had an ageless look about me.

Buggered if I know what that meant.

Personally being fat and a dirty smoker I think I look older.

I was also told when I was 17, I must have had an uphill paper round

I always get told I don't look a day over 89.

I've no idea. I probably look older on some days than others, depending how much sleep I've had and all the other contributing factors.

Well my kids 19/20s and there other halfs say i dont look my age and there friends like the look of me ,which my girls dont find very funny. lol

Ive never had anyone say i look younger than my age out right, but when i tell people i have a 20 year old daughter most look quite shocked and say things like...really? you must have been really young when you have her...im taking that as a compliment

I've been asked for ID a few times in supermarkets...could have something to do with the cartoon character t-shirts I often wear though! Last one must have only been in her early 20's...she looked a bit embarrassed when I showed her my driving licence

Im told I dont look or act my age, have always been a clown, bumped into my old domestic science teacher yesterday......she said oh yes I remember you, more detention metered out than was allowed!

Never looked my age. When I was 21 with a 2 year old I was asked who's was the toddler in a local shop. When I said 'mine' the woman looked really shocked. She said, 'But you're only 15' (this was when it was more shocking to be a teen mum - about 28 years ago). She looked even more shocked when I told her my actual age.

I said it on another thread - it is mainly down to genes and lifestyle. One we have control of, the other we don't.

I'm 53 and have been told I look about 43. I have no hang ups about my age, I tell folk the correct number lol. I colour my hair cos my natural grey makes me look ill and washed out.

I try not to act my age either lol

. I also got a new job the other day and everyone thought i was 18-20 its a tad annoying..

Well Ive never smoked or drank and I've never had bad skin problems and my skins always been clear, so facially I'm not in bad nick really.

I do have some fine wrinkles around my eyes and lips.

Yes I've had lots of people say I don't look my age or they can't believe I've got children as old as they are. I don't take any notice of all that though.

I have my own individual dress since and don't believe in the 'dress your age' business but its difficult to say isn't it because I know I'm 45 so I can't say I look younger than it, I just look okish for it

yes I have been told many times I look much younger than my age to the point that it is quite embarressing. The last partner I had one person thought he was my father and even my sister in law thought my mother had taken up with a fancy man as the first time she saw him was talking to my mother whilst i was at the bar talking to my brother ......... my partner was only four years my senior

I think about three years ago I could pass for younger than I was, but after one or 2 health issues, I think I look tired

The doctor at the hospital was surprised when he double checked my age, the boys in the phone shop were amazed at my age, I know I don't look my age - I don't have one single line or wrinkle, neither did my parents, but it means jack as no matter how young I look I'm still 52.

Both jays daughters get asked for id, little slip of things they both are, one is 32 and one is 34. Poor old jay doesnt look young for his age and he has white hair, so i guess it makes our age gap look even bigger. My son bless him has just started to look as though hes left school, hes always looked years younger than he is but hes just so used to it now. I say to him make the most of it while it lasts.

Both of us get told we look younger. Most say Paul looks late 30s and I look mid 20s I certainly don't feel I look young any more but I do think Paul looks young for his age

Nobody is ever surprised so I guess I must look my age....either that or older and they are too polite to say.

I have to agree if I was guessing I would say about my age so 25 ish

Bloody hell, another resurrected thread! I can actually date this one to December 2012 seeing as I posted that I was in hospital and looking around 93 years old...I'm better now and can pass for 60 in a dimly lit room

but in general, when I weigh up the good compliments I get, and the not so good, I will always retreat to the good..I get a few Oi Ois

i get lots of people saying i look in my early thirties....maybe they are just saying it to make me feel good and help me decide wether to drop me drawers lol

I had a much younger man say to me-don't you have soft skin for an umm old woman. Then he went on to say I didn't look my age etc etc. Apologised for calling me old and made up for it after. I don't mind being called old and I do look my age but it was funny seeing the panic in his eyes
