Not really. Watching England play football is hard work. But once it get to the knockout stages I'm sure I'll be more interested. I love live sport and it will be a quality sporting spectacle regardless of all the other shenanigans.

Not as much as usual, it doesn't really have the same feeling this time.

I hope both England and Wales get through the group and don't play each other again and that England beat Wales or they won't stop talking about it for ages

I think there is a difference between watching it and being invested in it if that makes sense….

I may be at the “meh” stage now .. but I may be all in by a quarter final!

It just doesn’t feel like a proper run up to a good international sporting event!

I have no interest in sport at the best of times, especially football, but all that aside, how are we condoning being in Qatar, a country where it’s still illegal to be gay, and soon England are playing Iran, a country where the government are voting on murdering 14,000 arrested protesters. Boycott this now!

Not interested in football in the slightest so, no, though we'll likely get it rammed down our throats by the media

People play fast and loose with morales. Picking and choosing when those morales apply instead of having conviction behind them while attempting justifications, especially when it comes to luxuries like football.

Which is their choice to do so of course, we all do it one way or another.

No really. Stupid time of the year, plus Southgate is a dreary manager who gets us playing horrible dreary football.

One of the reasons the World Cup is normally great is it’s MORE football in the summer.

This one is actually interrupting the primary leagues, players are missing out due to injury. Just feels very odd.

No. Fifa should be dissolved and the tournament abandoned. It is utterly morally wrong to even consider playing football in a stadium built by the blood of forced labour. Fifa have sold themselves. No country with any regard for human rights should attend.

Is this the end for The World Cup? It should be.

Unfortunately money is more important than morality

FIFA have been selling world cups since the 70's. Blatter makes my skin crawl

Followed by USA, and look at anyone of 100s of different reasons to boycott that from the death sentence to guantanamo to human rights to assorted "peace keeping" and indoctrination initiatives.

I'd imagine if we looked not very hard we could find reason to boycott playing pretty much all the teams represented.
