51 and really fancy mountaineering…… there I said it, I’ve had a secret yearning for all things to do with it and never done anything about it, is it too late? Am I just looking at it through rose tinted glasses? Anyone on here done it |

Not too late at all OP. Perhaps find a local climbing club and start there. |

You're not old OP. Do it. Embrace life. Do the things you've always wanted to do without regretting them. Learning, exploring, challenging, discovering more about yourself. That's what lights us up so lean into it. |

You are never too old to do something you want to do, you might do it differently to how you would have twenty or thirty years ago.
There is one exception and that is an 18-30 holiday, thank god it's easy to be too old for that. |

"There's only one way to find out, find a local climbing centre and give it a try"
Good advice here, me thinks.
Have a little sample and see how yiu find it. I don't think your age is a barrier towards it.
Good luck with it, should you give it a go. Best to not look back and think, I wish! |
