Do you scan forums for an OP from a favourite formite, and comment on the thread.

Do you see a thread you find dull, until you see a response from your favourite formite, then respond in the thread .

I'll own up, I stlk Will.i.am (for obvious reasons - bed buddy) and obi, as I find his posts fair and rational as a rule

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I think I do the opposite. If I see an interesting thread title then I want to read it. If it has been started by someone that may annoy me at that time then I don't bother to read it.

I do respond to be people if I have something to say. Whether anyone wants to read it is another matter and not my reason for responding.

I read forums daily, have noticed one or two formites that seem to comment on certain people's post, generally changing route of the conversation away from OP original post

I read and comment on interesting threads and if the pix look good I will check out the profiles and fab good pix. If I think the person would appreciate a message I send one and hopefully make new friends. If that's stalking then yes but I hope I'm not being intrusive. I will never be rude. Life's too short to piss people off. Peace and love

I'm similar... there are people who've annoyed me for various reasons and I tend to skip a thread if it's one they started. I know it's silly and irrational.

I don't think it's silly or irrational. It makes sense to avoid posts and threads by people who tend to annoy you.

There are a couple of people on here who drive me up the wall and I do my utmost to avoid their threads and posts.

Sorry to take so long to respond, Tiger Feet has her monitor the wrong way so it gets glare on it when looking through the telescope

But no don't stalk really but can avoid certain posters who I know I will just get annoyed with.

I look for thread titles that look interesting. I never post (or read) the shag/ snog/ avoid threads. I rarely think about what other people will think about what I say. I just say what I think.

That's a lot of thinks...

I do avoid some people and their threads.

And I have been known to properly target, stalk and get my greasy mitts on forumites.

But I know some names are likely to post an entertaining thread or a witty response so I am more likely to click if I see them.

Me too, read what seems interesting and input if I have something to say.

I've messaged people privately if I enjoy their posts in a particular thread and I've also used the block button on a tiny few who's _iews I've just found

I have only recently started to post in forums, I would post more but get distracted by profiles on the way down!!! (BBW Sarah almost stopped me posting this!) as only recently got into them starting to get the gist of who will say what and the standpoint of a few. Looking forward to posting more in the future

I'm not a stalker but there are a good handful of people who's posts always give me something to think about, another good handful who make me laugh and a select few who's posts make me think 'WTF??' Lol. But I generally just watch for the topics and look at the ones that interest me. X

I'll generally post on anything I have an opinion on - and try very hard (although its sometimes seriously hard!) to avoid biting and posting on something that gets my back up.

But I understand where the OP is coming from - there are several posters that I know if I need a humorous 'pick me up' at any point that I can click that little green arrow and get set for a good giggle! Likewise on serious threads I can usually be certain which side of a particular 'fence' someone will be sat on.

And if that's forum stalking - guilty as charged!! That little green arrow comes in handy for checking out other posts people have started/contributed to - and when you see a pattern develop its usually either a welcome sight - or a good tool for establishing who to run and hide from!

If people have a similar sense of humour or _iews on something, then it may appear like you/them are stalking if commenting on a certain subject.

Brighton - even Hove!

I go by the topic titles but there are usually posts within threads by the usual suspects mostly witty, some invariably badly spelt, others rabidly off the richter scale and a lot of good ones which is one of the reasons I'm here. Not sure why I'm here otherwise.......

I read the majority of posts and contribute to those where I have an opinion to voice.

Not those snog/beat/kill/fuck types though as they tend to come across as little bit clicky and ego boosting.

If you are going to say something...... then please say something.

A post is an advertisement for you whether you like it or not. Don't pussy foot around but do treat others with respect and have a certain degree of grace. If you are going to "pull somebody's leg" then make sure it can't be miss-construed and you are fairly sure of the intended reaction.

Being able to write well and clearly also really helps.

I only post on threads that I find interesting regardless of who has started them. If a lady comes back and likes my post or adds an interesting comment then I often PM her as we already have something to discuss and a conversation is almost guaranteed.

I don't labour this though and it goes where it goes. Sometimes the start of something wonderful and sometimes just a few friendly exchanges.
