Boob Jobs Advice

This is for the ladies who have had boob jobs of any sort. Uplift, reductions or implants.

1) What were the pros and cons you experienced?

2) Did you get what you wanted from it?

3) If you were to go back and make that decision again, would you still do it or change something?

We want to weigh up the information before making any and all decisions!

Google seems to be a great source for careful marketed reviews by the companies or those dead against them... We want real world reviews please

Having never had a boob job or even a moob job, I'm in no position to advise on this subject. I have however, seen a program on C4 (I think) called "Send Nudes", this gives impartial and expert advice on all types of cosmetic surgery as well as presenting the thoughts and motives of the person considering it and, of people that have had it done.

1) I lost nipple sensitivity which still hasn't returned after 2 years.

2) I did I love how I look now and have more confidence.

3) I wish I had gone slightly larger. Not Pamela Anderson size but just a bit more.

My ex had a boob job about 15 years ago.

One of the ducts in her nipples meant she leaked 'milk' all the time, so she could never go braless. She also had asymmetric breasts and hated shopping for bra's.

After nagging her to see her GO.

Following various tests, she was told it was nothing to worry about. So she went to see a specialist about having some surgery and having breast implants. She went from a 32A/34B to 36C. The change in her confidence was remarkable and she has never looked back.

I wanted it done, but no surgeon would touch me, there is a few groups on f-book women sharing experiences I found that super helpful, since having my 2nd little one they've somehow perked back up so I'm pleased I didn't get it in the end.

Do they expect it to return, or is that one of the risks we're guessing?

I don't think it will unfortunately but for me the benefits outweigh that.

I don't like my outer labia too much and thought about having them reduced but won't now. The reduced feeling on my nipples I can live with but no way do I want to lose anything down there

Maidstone

Had my BA done end August with Transform at Harley Street. From 36A to 38D.

"1) What were the pros and cons you experienced?"

Pros are the whole process was much cheaper and easier than I was expecting.

No major Cons, except that I would say, do your homework and commit to it. After all, if it is only cosmetic, then it really isn't a necessity.

"2) Did you get what you wanted from it?"

In time I'm expecting.

I was clear with my surgeon I don't want two Xmas puddings (domes) stuck to my chest. I'm too old to have sit-up-and-beg breasts of a 20 yo.

He confirmed what a girl on here advised me. They will start to droop more naturally after a year or two. So three months in, they are starting to look more what I like. The more natural looking folds underneath are also hiding the scars. Pencil test on the ready! Lol

"3) If you were to go back and make that decision again, would you still do it or change something?"

I'm super happy! Despite my initial doubts, I went with my surgeon's advice as he gave convincing explanations to all my challenges. For example, I did the rice bag test and wanted 350cc but he convinced me with my broader shoulders, 450cc would be a better balance. He is right, I'm happy with the size.

I would advise looking online as there are loads of surgeons in California with "before" and "after" pics. Look for pictures similar to you now, and your expectations. Show the pics at your consultation. It will be the basis of your discussions.

Do your homework! There is always doubt about unnecessary procedures, so be at least 75% to 80% commited to it before going ahead.

Good luck and feel free to PM if you want any more info/advice.

Depends if you want it done over or under the muscle.

I had under the muscle. Recovery is a bigger deal. Help needed for simple tasks.

The surgeon I chose would only put in the cc that would my body size/muscle and breast tissue would take. To me that was the sign of a good surgeon. Over the muscle will drop.

I read a book called The ultimate Cleavage, a practical guide to cosmetic breast enlargement surgery. Written by Maxine Heasman.

(2002 edition)

You're welcome to PM me if you wish.

Thank you! We will look into that book. Its a good sign that the doc wouldn't go too much, shows they're ethical and professional! X
