Tom is no fan of the jungle but reports that Matt Hancock has been bitten by a scorpion. These show people types do not know what they are dealing with here. A bite from a poisonous scorpion can be fatal...
Time to end this madness in the name of entertainment |

People know what they are signing up to and know there is a serious chance of injury. There will be more than enough medics there plus don't forget for Australian medics something like a scorpio bite is not something out of the ordinary. |

"Tom is no fan of the Jungle but when people's play with fire they sometimes get their fingers burnt... "
That’s the risk you take… but there are experts behind the scenes prepared for anything like that. |

Hate that fucking show, just bullying and boredom, hosted by a drink driving twat and his grinning idiot mate.
See my TedTalks for more mindfulness advice. |

"I'm kind of softening towards him (I know, I know!!) as he makes me laugh "
I'm the same... but then I remember, he's a twunt.
I can't work out if he's really stupid or highly manipulative. |

Much deserved, they know what they are doing and have a choice, unlike the animals who are abused and exploited in the name of entertainment |

Hhmmm I think he knows exactly what he's doing. Thing is, will he spill the whole truth? Remains to be seen x |

"Is the Scorpion OK? I hope he got a tetanus shot, humans carry all manner of diseases, especially Tory ones
People I disagree with are diseased "
We disagreed on a thread once, so I take that as a dig |

If the scorpion was poisonous, Hancock would have to bite the scorpion to have ill effects. |

Tom is no fan of Scorpions but this could have been much worse..
No doubt out of camera shot there are paramedics with anti poison drugs and presumably a small operating theatre and hospital.. our TV licence paying for this rubbish.

This thread got me thinking about The Scorpions, the German rock band, as others have already already alluded to. The Zoo being a favourite of mine.
They have a guitarist called Matthias Jabs.
It's all wheels within wheels.
Join up the dots people, it's there if you look for it. Wheres my tin foil hat gone? |

No licence fee was harmed in the making of this program, it's on ITV |

"Tom stop watching the TV and reading the news. Have a wank like the rest of us."
I'm surprised they haven't had group wanking sessions on the jungle yet... He who comes last goes hungry or something... |

A scorpion is an unusual creature. It has claws like a lobster and a long tail which injects poison in the same way that a bee or wasp can, the difference being that the poison is very very toxic.
Tom will share some knowledge from an old Indian snake charmer that he once met in Madras. He had several snakes but each one had their poison glands amputated.
Now Tom is not saying what goes on behind the scenes but steps may have been taken to make these buggers less poisonous. It is just a TV game show after all.... |
