Anyone got any exciting trips out somewhere planned?
I myself am gonna take a trip up to York at the end of month to have a look around and do some Christmas shopping there. I was gonna go this week but can't afford it at the moment so I thought I'd wait until the end of the month instead. |

"Have you been before? Hope it's good frosty winter weather. "
I've only went once when I was a kid back in the 90s and that was for a wedding there. I can remember doing some of the walk on the castle walls that surrounded the city which was good.
I can't wait to go as not only do I want to see the Christmas Market there, I want to check out all the streets there including the Shambles because I've always like seeing places that have been around since the Victorian or the Medieval era. I reckon going at Christmas is even better as it will feel like I've stepped into A Christmas Carol. |

York is so pretty - walk around the walls too if you get time and down the river bank if its not flooded. Save some pennies to join Betty's queue for a 'fat rascal' |

I'll be doing an all day visit to York so I'll do some walk around the walls when I get there. |
