Lunch Atop a Skyscraper. Even though it wasn’t candid, still an iconic photo which depicted the lives of the steel workers 90 years ago. Lots of similar photos like that what make you think of the dangerous working conditions back then…

A lot of the work by Don McCullin is very powerful. The picture of the starving albino boy in Biafra where the emaciated boy is taunted because of his skin pigmentation has always stuck with me. Kevin Carters picture of a starving Sudanese girl who is being watched by a vulture is also haunting.

The famous photo of Thích Qu?ng Ð?c, the Vietnamese monk who immolated himself in a Saigon street in protest at the government’s treatment of Buddhist monks in the country. I’ve never been able to get that image out of my head , the look of serenity through what must have been unimaginable pain. Just can’t comprehend it

The Vietnam war had some truly humbling pictures taken. The ”Shell-shocked US Marine, The Battle of Hue” and the execution of Nguyen Van Lem stick with me for different reasons.

The assassination of a child's abuser, by the child's father as he passed by a callbox in a US airport.
