When you have me/cfs you feel like that all day every day but probably worse !
I sleep prob 10 hours overnight up for maybe 6 bed for 2 or 3 up for 5 ish bedtime !
And trying to find the motivation, energy or will to do anything at all is so hard.
Also makes you feel useless and wonder if you should even be here !
For example I had planned to go to 2 shops today out for maybe 2 hours but once up and sorted just couldn't pull myself together enough to go !
During the summer my hobby if you like is popping out on the motorbike but again you get days where you think can I be bothered to get bike out, put all that gear on have a ride stop somewhere for half hour and ride home then reverse the process ? Just to feel twice as bad the next day !!
Lots of people aren't aware of this disability so I encourage you to Google me/cfs and have a little read ! |

Sometimes I give myself that day of nothingness, to rest & recharge my body and mind.
Most other times I like to go for a walk with Mr NBVN and talk through how I am feeling. We have often gone out very late in the evening to have fresh air, a little exercise, and chat to help me unwind before bed. For me it feels like bringing closure to that day and helps refocus my mind towards a more positive following day.
I hope the low ebb goes soon OP

I'm having such a day. I've often opened a bottle and got slowly but surely d*unk by myself or gone for a blowout in town. However, I'm really trying to cut down on my emotional dependence on alcohol.
If I can prize myself away from the spirit aisle tonight I'll probably try to pamper myself. A nice long hot bath with some music, then put my PJs on and watch some comedy until I fall asleep on the sofa. |

Write your feelings down, get everything you feel no matter how weird or daft it may sound. After a few times of doing this you then read it back and see what keeps cropping up again and again. Then if you are able to sort just one of the things that bothers you, it is a visible sign that things can get better..hope you feel better soon. X |

I actually thought about this today.
When I’m down, I have to pick myself up. And it takes ages sometimes. There’s nobody, and I mean nobody reaching out to me lately. (Apart from one girl who popped a lovely message to me when I really needed it).
There was a time I could just go out, but nobody does anymore. It’s killing my mojo. |

I have learnt to just honour my body and the fact I cant do anything. Early night or lie in next day if I can, and try to sleep it off. Hope you feel better soon. |

I shut myself off, try finding something to distract myself with, so I'm not thinking about it constantly. also having time away, little thoughts about it, so I'm able to figure out a solution. Thinking is good but also at the right time the brain needs a break. |

Eat comfort foods (for me a bacon or sausage sandwich with ketchup & a runny fried egg.) Some microwave chips too.
A crumble with custard for afterwards.
An early night & a fresh perspective/outlook on life the next day .... |
