A few "remembrance" threads going on atm.
I'm not the best with words so using the medium of music to mark a memory.
Post your "War" themed songs to remember those affected by War.
You could have an 8 track of "bomb track" or a cassette of "conflict"

It's an anti Vietnam war song, the 8 miles refers to the hight the bombers flew to drop their bombs to avoid surface to air missiles |

I'm not one for Christmas but I was listening to Metal Christmas songs as I need to make a cat video for my channel. Anyway I came across this and it's really powerful especially with the music video.

Okay, it’s quite specifically about the cost to America of the Vietnam war, but the sentiment is universal.
And … War Room by Tilt. That’s an obscure one, I know, but it’s the most powerful anti-war tirade I’ve ever heard. The story of a soldier injecting themselves with their sick comrade’s blood to make themselves ill enough to be sent home from the front. |

Yes, I agree, and many other contemporary Great War songs, also 'Over the Hills and far away', mentioned below, as with 'The Green Fields of France'/Willy McBride, and an old Irish song, 'The Minstrel Boy'. |
