Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I walked around M&S foodhall and couldn't find anything to eat.
Four hours later I have a sinus headache, a tickle at the back of my throat and an my body aches.
How you know you're about to be ill?

"You're 57 surely you should know by now or is this the first time you've been ill? "
Where is the inference that I don't know when I'm getting ill?
I haven't checked your age and wouldn't comment on your comprehension skills. |

"I usually get a burst of energy before I fall ill. Very strange but I have the energy of two people and then the next day I'll fall ill."
That sounds like bipolar |

Actually, there are some pathogens that, as part of their pathogenesis, encourage their host to be active and spread the disease, in the pre-symptomatic stage. Many diseases are most infectious in the days immediately prior to symptoms showing or before symptoms arise. |

So yeah I think I know I may be getting sick ffs "
You had cold symptoms already? I think you were already poorly.

"Gout sounds pretty horrid.
It is, a couple of years ago I had a flare up in ma left ankle, and ma right knee, That came on pretty much overnight "
That's you knackered then. Even hobbling must be impossible with a knee and ankle out on different sides. I hope it doesn't return. |

It does occasionally, but thankfully that was the only double whammy I've ever had |

Simple! I get this annoying tickle in my balls!
Throat I mean but I had to have fun with that. And I did. Little giggle to myself there |

"Gout sounds pretty horrid."
It's a bit like a migraine or (some) toothache. Until someone has experienced it, they almost certainly underestimate what it's like.
I'm glad I get the early signs, so I can get a prescription straight in. The 1st time I ever got it, I was in tears for days. And obviously couldn't walk anywhere either. I never took it seriously whenever I'd heard about it before then. |

Depending on what I've caught but usually throat and ears feel sore, or my sinuses hurt.
When I came down with Covid I got a tickly cough in a cab on the way home from my daughter's, and gradually got more symptoms as the day went on. |
