So, I’ve been flip-flopping between having a cock pic on my profile, and not having one on there. I know it puts some people off, but going by the fabs I’ve had when it’s been shown, it’s also clearly attracting some attention.

If you are, then try to make it an appealing photo.
Just flopping it out and taking a quick snap of it in all it's close up glory wouldn't get my juices flowing.

I am not keen on the super close up only a cock in the frame types. If it's a body pic then yes, some guys look great, one on this thread for sure has it right |

You'll find that flip flopping your profile or pics based on forum comments won't help your cause.
Most people here prefer three person behind the profile to own it and not be continuously swayed by what others think you should or shouldn't have on your own profile.
If you like the pics then keep them. If you don't then hide or delete them but it's your profile.
For every woman on the forums who doesn't like a cock pic is another who encourages them.
